Ordering and Paying For Maps, Prints and Ephemera items please use the shopping cart. However if you intend to purchase several items, please email me for a discount price and then pay using the PayPal page below. For some larger items being sent out of the UK or for valuable maps, it may be necessary to ask for additional postage.

For Books, postage is set by weight and destination. Before payment, please email me to confirm availability and the shipping charges. Estimated charges are set out below. When you have the confirmed total price for your Books, please click this PayPal button to take you to the PayPal page.

You do not need to belong to PayPal to use their services. Paying through PayPal allows you to use a wide range of credit or debit cards.

Enter the item number and description (in the case of multiple items I will give you an order number in the confirmatory email), together with the total price including shipping.

If you are sending a cheque then please make it out to D W McLachlan with the amount in £ Sterling (GBP) ONLY and send it to:

Availability Sold items are removed from the web site as soon as possible. When you email me for shipping costs please include the reference number and enough details to confirm the identity of the chosen item together with the full postal address for delivery. I will confirm availability and put a hold on the item for 3 days. Subsequent confirmation of your order by email or the receipt of payment will then ensure its reservation until payment has been cleared.

UK Special Delivery - for consignments above £46.00* £5.90 Up to 500g.

Europe Air Mail, International Signed-For:

For consignments up to £46.00 £7.50 Up to 300g.

For consignment value greater than £46* £10.00 Up to 300g.

World Wide Air Mail, International Signed-For:

For consignments up to £46.00 £9.50 Up to 300g.

For consignment value greater than £46* £12.00 Up to 300g.

Heavier Items will be charged at Royal Mail scale prices. Lower cost services may be available

* Up to £500 (Some countries £250). Above these limits extra compensation fees are charged.

Out of Office On occasion it will be necessary to respond to emails with an Out of Office notification and a note will appear on this page as well indicating when enquiry responses and order processing will recommence.
