Old maps, antiquarian books and collectable prints as well as ephemera and other printed collectibles at reasonable prices are offered on this new site opened in September 2009. I hope you enjoy looking around and that you find something to interest you. More items are being added all the time. There are pictures of every item (with the exception of some military books). Just click the reference number.

New to the web, but as S E McLachlan dating back to the seventies and eighties, we exhibited at book fairs round the country as a members of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association, (PBFA).

The Old Map Man (http://www.theoldmapman.com) incorporates The Old Book Man (http://www.theoldbookman.com) and The Old Print Man (http://www.theoldprintman.com) so please add any of these addresses to your Favorites (Bookmarks) to access this site.

The Old Map Man sells antique maps of the UK and the World, including many inexpensive items. Maps, charts and town plans of countries in Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Australasia. There is a choice of maps from the Sixteenth century to about 1908. All are genuinely old and the approximate date of production is shown for each item.

Souvenir of a holiday or reminder of working abroad? Serious collector of maps of a country through the ages? Collect maps by a favourite mapmaker? Just like maps?
